About the Role
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for performing industrial electrical construction work on local job sites, including the installation, modification, and startup of electrical systems in manufacturing, processing, and industrial facilities. This role involves working with power distribution, motor controls, automation, and low-voltage network systems up to 1,000 volts. The position requires the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications, understand project scope, and manage multiple construction tasks efficiently. The Industrial Electrician is expected to work safely, produce high-quality installations, represent the company professionally with customers, and take pride in delivering dependable, code-compliant electrical construction.
Requirements
3–5 years of industrial electrical construction experience (minimum of 2 years required)
Experience with industrial power distribution, motor controls, automation, and network systems (1,000V and below)
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, e-plans, and specifications
Hands-on experience installing conduit, raceway systems, and cable tray in industrial environments
Proven ability to install, terminate, and test industrial electrical systems
Ability to troubleshoot motors and control systems during installation and startup phases
Proficient with electrical tools, meters, schematics, and technical manuals
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple construction tasks and deadlines on active job sites
Professional communication skills when interacting with clients and site personnel
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and workmanship standards
